Knicks vs Nets
Knicks firepower seeks repeat dominance over a short-handed Nets squad.

Knicks (9-6) VS Nets (3-12)
November 24, 2025 | 7:30 p.m. ET | Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY

Karl-Anthony Towns leads a Knicks group that, despite coming in on a one-game skid after the 133-121 loss in Orlando, has still gone 7-3 over its last 10 behind a 120.8 points-per-game offense and a recent 134-98 home thrashing of these same Nets where Towns dropped 28 and 12. Brooklyn has only three wins, is back on a losing streak after falling to Toronto, and now leans heavily on Michael Porter Jr. and Nic Claxton while key rotation pieces like Cam Thomas, Haywood Highsmith and Ben Saraf are sidelined, thinning an already shaky offense. New York isn’t fully healthy either with OG Anunoby out and Landry Shamet dinged up, but Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges and Towns form a far more reliable late-game shot-creation trio than anything Brooklyn can counter, making Knicks -900 a high-confidence but poor-value side that I’d grade a B-, better as a parlay anchor than a straight bet. Odds and availability are subject to change. This bet was made at 24/11/2025 09:50am
Jalen Brunson’s 33-point, 11-assist showing in the Orlando loss underlined how hot the Knicks’ offense is right now, with New York routinely pushing games into the 230s and beyond and already hanging 134 on Brooklyn in their first meeting this season. The Nets have stumbled back into a losing streak, but their recent 113-105 Cup win in Boston behind a Nic Claxton triple-double and 33 from Michael Porter Jr. showed they can score in bursts, while their 109.8 points per game and leaky transition defense keep opponents’ totals inflated. With OG Anunoby still out (hurting New York’s perimeter defense more than its scoring), Cam Thomas sidelined for Brooklyn but Porter Jr. emerging as a high-volume option, and both teams’ recent box scores skewing toward high-efficiency shooting nights, I slightly prefer the Over 229.5 at -110 and grade it a B, acknowledging some risk if the Knicks’ defense finally tightens or a blowout drags down late pace. Nic Claxton and Michael Porter Jr. just helped Brooklyn snap a long slide with that statement win in Boston, and even though the Nets slipped back into the loss column against Toronto, that recent form plus home court at Barclays makes +13.5 an intriguing number after getting embarrassed by 36 at Madison Square Garden in the first Knicks–Nets meeting. New York is still the superior side and comes in off a loss, but with OG Anunoby out and Landry Shamet dealing with a shoulder issue, Tom Thibodeau may lean more on Brunson, Bridges and Towns minutes-wise one night after flying back from Florida, introducing some fatigue and late-game variance around a spread this large. Brooklyn remains short-handed without Cam Thomas and others, yet their current rotation of Porter Jr., Claxton, Noah Clowney and a swarm of young wings has shown enough offensive punch and defensive activity that I’m willing to take the points and grade Nets +13.5 at -110 as a B-, banking on pride, recent improvement and garbage-time backdoor potential to keep this rivalry game inside two touchdowns. Odds and availability are subject to change. This bet was made at 24/11/2025 09:50am
